Full disclosure: I grocery shop at Walmart, can’t believe a bag of movie popcorn costs $7.50 and have a cheap-gas app on my cell phone. So maybe there’s a reason the Angels’ alleged tight-fisted ways of pursuing free agents doesn’t bother me.
