Giants’ Zito finally beats former team in 5th try
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -Barry Zito finally got the best of his former team and only club he’d never beaten, ending a four-start winless stretch in the San Francisco Giants’ 5-4 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Saturday night.

Bases loaded, two out and a full count, Kaz Matsui kept fouling off fastball after fastball until he finally flied out on the 15th pitch to end the game.
